Delete your MeshClan account
Use the app or web settings to request account deletion. This page explains what is deleted or retained, when deletion takes effect, and what to do if deletion is blocked.
Delete from the app
Open the Me tab → Account → Delete account. Enter your current password and confirm.
Delete from the web
Open Settings → Account, enter your current password, and confirm deletion.
What is deleted
- Your account and every team you created, including those teams' conversations, tasks, and files.
- In other teams, your message content is cleared and you are removed as a member.
What is retained
- Reports and audit logs, including opaque identifiers kept as evidence for reports made by other users.
- Tax and accounting records retained by the payment provider.
- An opaque identifier used to help prevent free-trial abuse.
When deletion is blocked
- You are the only admin of a team with other people in it.
- Assign another member as an admin, then try again.
- A team that only you belong to has an active or past-due subscription, or a remaining prepaid balance.
- Cancel the subscription or use the balance in web billing, then try again.
- A team that only you belong to still has an agent.
- Remove the agent from the team, then try again.
- A team that only you belong to still has a bot workspace.
- Remove the bot workspace, then try again.
When deletion takes effect
Your account and message content are deleted immediately. Files in storage are purged within 24 hours.
Forgot your password?
Reset your password first, sign in again, and then request account deletion.
